ONE* Ministries – April 8th Update

By April 9, 2020 No Comments

Hey ONE* Family,

I have a lot of updates for you today, so hold on. As you know, we have been working hard to serve our community during this Stay home, Stay Safe season. For the next couple of weeks, we will be focusing our attention on our medical community.

Some of you have been making Medical masks to be given to the medical teams at Sacred Heart Hospital. You can drop those masks off at the church tomorrow, Thursday April 9th between 2pm and 4pm.

Next, we have a couple of new ways to encourage those serving our community in the medical field.

We would like to give nurses, doctors and all other medical personnel a free drink on us.  You can go to any Starbucks and order your favorite drink for free. It’s our way of saying thank you for all you are doing to serve our community to keep us safe. So check out our Facebook and Instagram for the barcode to scan at your local Starbucks. We hope you enjoy it.

We’re also ready to launch Feed the Fight Spokane.  A lot of you have been asking where you can give financially to help support our community. Starting tomorrow, you will be able to go to and give financially to purchase food and coffee from local business.  Those meals and drinks will be given to those who are leading the fight against the coronavirus in our community.

All the proceeds given to will purchase food, coffee and other items to support people working in the medical field, first responders and grocery store workers. We want firefighters, police officers, paramedics and other essential health care workers throughout the Spokane area to know they have our full support and that we recognize their tremendous contributions to protect and strengthen our community. You can also give at and just pick your campus and the fund designation “Feed the Fight”. Our goal is to have our website up and running sometime tomorrow, Thursday April 9th.  So check it out and Feed the Fight.

Finally, our ONE* Kids Team is launching a YouTube channel on Easter Sunday. This channel is designed for the entire family.  Just search for ONE* Kids on YouTube or Click Here. Your kids are going to love this channel, so check it out Easter Sunday. If you would like to know more, you can just go to our ONE* Kids Facebook page Here to get some more information.

Finally, this Sunday is Easter Sunday.  Since we will only be meeting online, we have designed a digital invite that we will make available this Friday. This is for you to share with all your friends and family to invite them to the Easter service. We encourage you to have an Easter watch party on Zoom or Skype. It’s a great way to invite your friends and neighbors to church online!

And Finally, Finally, I just want to thank all of you for your generosity.  This week even more of you switched over to online giving. Your faithful generosity helps us remain strong so we can continue to serve our community.

Remember, God is with you and He is for you.  We love you and be sure to join us for Easter Service at our regular times of 8:30, 10, and 11:30.  Join us that day on our new YouTube channel, Facebook or at

Happy Easter!
