Facilities Director Job
Location: Spokane, WA (Valley Campus & North Campus)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Executive Pastor / Operations Director

Position Summary
The Facilities Director will oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, and functionality of ONE* Church’s Valley and North Campuses. This role is responsible for creating safe, clean, and organized environments that support ministry efforts throughout the week. The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly organized, dependable, and aligned with the mission and values of ONE* Church.

Key Responsibilities
Cleaning & Maintenance
  • Ensure both campuses are fully cleaned and reset on a consistent weekly schedule:
  • Valley Campus: cleaned thoroughly twice per week
  • North Campus: cleaned thoroughly once per week
  • Coordinate and/or perform general maintenance, including minor repairs, trash removal, and facility upkeep.
  • Ensure all restrooms, lobby areas, classrooms, and worship spaces are clean, stocked, and ready for services and events.

Facility Oversight
  • Conduct weekly inspections of both campuses to ensure safety, cleanliness, and functionality.
  • Monitor HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and security systems; coordinate with contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance.
  • Maintain facility supply inventories and reorder as needed.
  • Set up and tear down for weekly events, services, and special events.

Team Leadership & Coordination
  • Recruit, train, and lead volunteers or part-time facility support as needed.
  • Coordinate with staff and ministry leaders to prepare facilities for various events and service needs.
  • Maintain communication with church leadership regarding facility issues, project planning, and budgeting needs.

Qualifications
  • Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with the vision and values of ONE* Church.
  • Previous experience in facilities management, custodial work, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor as required.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation between campuses.

Work Schedule
  • Full-time (40 hours/week) with a flexible schedule to accommodate church services and events.
  • Occasional evenings or weekends may be required based on event schedules.
