FAQ

It’s my first time, what do I do?

We are so excited that you’re joining us for your first time! When you enter our lobby you will see our ONE* Kids Check-in area, our team is eager to meet you and get you plugged in. We will walk you through our policies and give you a tour of your child's environment.

When is ONE* Kids offered?

Our One Kids* environments are available during all of our Sunday services at both of our locations.

What are your safety guidelines?

Our ONE* Kids' environments are completely secured and protected during services. Our check in remains open throughout our services. Every adult checking their children into ONE* Kids will receive a pick-up tag, which will need to be provided during the pick-up process. We do this for the safety and security of your child and ensure they are protected in our care. Additionally, we have a safety team that patrols the lobby and surrounding areas to ensure your children's safety while they are with us at ONE* Kids.

What if I lose my pick-up tag?

Our number one priority is the safety of the children in ONE* Kids. If a pick-up tag is lost, the leader of that environment will locate one of our service leads to help facilitate the pick-up process. We will ask to see a valid photo ID and check our database to ensure that the adult is authorized for pick-up.

What if my child has allergies or special needs?

During the check-in process, please inform us of any special needs or allergies your child may have, and we will ensure this information is included on their name tag so that our leaders are aware. At ONE* Kids, we maintain a peanut-free environment and kindly ask that no outside food be brought in.

How will you contact me during service if my child needs me?

For any reason, if your child needs you while you are in service, we will have our database text you with the number that you provided at check-in.

Can I stay in my child’s environment?

Because our ONE* Kids environments are completely secure, only our team members with approved background checks are permitted in the environments. We have an experienced and well-trained team who will ensure that your child is well cared for. For mothers of babies and toddlers, we have a mothers' room where you can bring your children, and the service is streamed.

If my kids are in different ages but want to stay together, can they?

Our goal is that your children make friends in their own age appropriate environment, while getting to learn about Jesus in a way that fits their developmental learning stage. On an individual basis during the adjustment period, we will allow for accommodations to help our siblings feel comfortable. We will allow the older child to go with the younger one and help them to make friends and to become confident in attending class on their own.

What is your sick child policy?

Please don’t check in kids if:

-They have had a fever above 99° within the last 24 hours
-They have had diarrhea within the last 24 hours
-They have vomited within the last 24 hours
-They have green discharge from nose

Jennifer Ramirez

I’ve been happily married to my wonderful husband, Gabriel Ramirez. We are proud parents to three amazing children: Adam, Anise, and Sammy. As a family, we value our time together on the lake, hiking through nature, diving into a good book, and getting lost in challenging puzzles. I have dedicated over 18 years of my life to serving in children’s ministry, I love being able to plant seeds of faith into the next generation. A favorite verse of mine is John 12:27, this verse guides my passion for leading and loving families toward a stronger connection with Christ. Each moment spent with my family and the children we serve reaffirms my commitment to developing their spiritual growth. I believe there is no greater purpose than helping others discover the depth of God’s love. My passion is to love and lead families in a growing relationship with Christ Jesus.
